Women empowerment is shown on the track "Empowerment" by Chayntelle

Chayntelle

In the midst of the Covid19 pandemic, Chayntelle has released a track titled, Empowerment on 12 July 2020.

Chayntelle has explained that the song is about women empowerment. I had taken the initiative to ask for more details about the track Empowerment and this is what she said :

"My new song 'Empowerment' is about Self-Empowerment. In this song, I created three alter egos who speak throughout the song: Authority, Innocence, and Balance or you can also call them, Black, White, and Pink. I felt like these are the significant traits of self-empowerment. Especially in women. I decided on making a song about self-empowerment because not many people empower themselves and rely on others to verify their identity and worth. Self Empowerment is important to me because you set your own goals and it is up to you if you want to reach them or not. I feel like it takes these three traits to balance yourself, get to know who you are, and know how to keep a mindset that you have worth. Especially in Teens and Women".

From my point of view, Chayntelle is empowering women because she wants every single woman to know their self worth and achieve their dreams. They shouldn't let anyone discourage them because they are worthy, they don't need to seek validation from others to see if they are worthy or not. Therefore, this track is a declaration of women pride.

What is the inspiration behind Empowerment?

Chayntelle said, "The inspiration behind 'Empowerment' was based a little bit off of my first single 'R.I.A', but my main inspiration is me. I thought about where I started, how I worked, and where I am now".

Her first single 'R.I.A' is about a woman whose in a polygamous marriage.

Moreover, Chayntelle's inspiration is herself. This is because, before music was her career choice, writing came first. She has written a whole pre-written album and mixtape and a total to more than 40 songs. She is clearly a hard worker, the type of person who is taking steps to achieve her dreams in her music career. She is releasing music, doing something she's passionate about.

Empowerment is about empowering women where they have a choice to achieve their dreams and become the people they want to be in life.
