What is a music journalist?

My definition of being a music journalist is :

Always have an analytical mind on how the song was written and why it was written.
One should understand the background before writing a music review for example background of the artist, song, album etc.
When using other sources one should quote hence it's always about having your facts and being honest.

That is basically what I would be talking about in my music reviews.
