Markuss is a newborn artist from Montréal. He released the song "Move Your Haunch" on August 15, 2022. Markuss mentioned his plans for taking his music production to the next level. He said:
Now, it's time to move my project and vision to the next level as my main objective is to exit 4 different albums within the next 2 years based on the 4 universe that composes my music. "Move your haunch" is one of the songs that would be written on the first album with "Bloemfontein".

When I listened to the track, I loved the vocals. The track seems reminiscent of 90s music but has a certain twist.
Since September 2022, he decided to devote all his free time to music. From mixing to composing he thought about a musical project that would allow him to express himself and transmit his passion for music. Cape Odyssey is an EP that traces his trip to South Africa in 2016. A fantastic trip, the discovery of a culture and a mentality different from the one he grew up with.
Cape Town symbolizes his arrival in the city of the same name. After a journey of over 17 hours, he landed in rainbow city. Springs completes the work and pays tribute to his French origins with a nod to the mythical band Daft Punk, a source of inspiration in his music.
Mbombela salutes the power of African music while maintaining a jazzy/house beat. Bloemfontein presents lively sounds in a disco/house universe. The artistic project behind Cape Odyssey is to announce the release of 4 albums in preparation. Each piece of music corresponds to the first track of each of these albums which will tell a more global story, his story.
Each musical style presented by these 4 tracks will be deepened in each album. The objective is to accompany the release of this EP with a video that will present the universe of each Album which was released in June 2022.
