Florida rap artist Courtesythebeast has been making strides in the music scene for a long time. He has released several projects, including albums like The Unraveler, Piquancy, and Piquancy 2, among others. Known for his relatable lyrics, he continues to connect with his audience. His album Vibe With Me, suited to listening to at the comfort of your home, features the track “But I Don’t Know (Freestyle)," which will be the focus of this article.
But I Don’t Know (Freestyle) is a song about staying strong and true to yourself. It talks about making tough choices, facing challenges, and being grateful for life. He also shares ideas about creativity, faith, and finding your purpose. Overall, it’s about resilience, self-awareness, and maintaining a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
For instance, when he said, “On a mission, building up my business," he is clearly focused on finding his purpose. Furthermore, he leaves an important message,
You were created to create / So if you ain't creatin' / There's somethin' goin' on with you / You need to let the world know who you are
Essentially, he is saying that everyone has a talent they’re gifted in, and it's better to create something than to wonder what you could have been.
Overall, I liked the concept of the track, and I appreciate the effort that went into creating the song. However, during the beginning and later parts of the track, I found some lyrics difficult to understand. It seems that in certain sections, the music overshadowed the vocals. Therefore, I would rate the track around 6.5 out of 10.
